What we do

We are qualitative researchers, marketing specialists, designers, storytellers, communicators and social entrepreneurs. We use traditional and creative approaches to take our clients on a journey to reveal new insights which help them improve what they do.

Our approach is always to work with the people most effected by a services, both those who deliver the service and those who use it. We use innovative co-design techniques to make sure that services are the best they can be and that new solutions are a good fit. As a social enterprise our profit is reinvested in some of the exciting projects we help invent.

For the public sector

Local authorities and non-governmental public bodies use our services to conduct public consultation especially with groups who can be hard to engage such as people with mental health issues, asylum-seekers, the frail elderly, family carers, etc. We also gather primary evidence to inform social policy and commissioning strategies and have develop innovative new services to help local authorities do their work more effectively. As well as many small project evaluations we have conducted several large scale national programme evaluations.

For social enterprises and charities

We have completed ground-breaking work in the field of social impact. We also offer project and programme evaluation and can help you to develop better ways of engaging with your workforce, stakeholders and service users. Our research is often used to shape new services and to help raise the money to deliver them.

For the private sector

Our experience in exploring sensitive issues or working with hard to engage populations gives us the experience to provide you with unique perspective into the concerns and interests of your customers and also your workforce. We can even involve them in helping to improve the design of your products and services.
